Merry Christmas. Yeah, right.

I'm off now for the Christmas and New Year season. There is nothing but doom and gloom in the newspapers. The TV is full of crap. I'm going to spend a couple of weeks getting over this flu/cold I've had for what seems like a month or more and catch up on some reading.
