-How did these 5 men discuss and approve this statement if some of them and their attorneys were not even aware of it?

-Why did the court happen to accept this filing given the above issue?

-Why did the court decide to release this to the public, despite years of secrecy on everything else, including denying access to something as basic as current photographs of the accused?

-Why is this being released now?

-How does it benefit anyone to release this this to the public? (it only benefits one group of people)

Comic Relief's celebrity climbers have spoken of their delight at being back home after conquering Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa.

Having climbed this unforgiving peak myself, I can confidently say that not all of them will make it to the dizzy (quite literally) heights of the impossibly beautiful summit, Uhuru Peak.
In fact, I'll eat Moyles' post-trip underpants - or at least his bush hat - if even half of them make it to the top on Sunday.

Climbing Kilimanjaro five years ago was an exhilarating personal achievement, but it was also the most physically gruelling, mentally draining and terrifying experience of my life.
Of the group of ten I travelled with - all of us healthy and fit - only five succeeded, of which I was the only woman. Two people ended up in hospital after collapsing during the arduous final push to the summit.

But far from improving the lives of ordinary Africans, the result of state administered charity on such a colossal scale has, argues Moyo, been 'an unmitigated political, economic and humanitarian disaster'.

The effects are easy to see, yet always ignored. Over the past 30 years, the economies of the most aid dependent countries have shrunk by 0.2 per cent per annum.

Yes, in the UK we have been in recession for six months or so now, but countries like Malawi and Burkina Faso have been in recession for three decades. How is this disaster related to thoughtless Western aid?   Directly...

Rapist stepfather can still attend Mass.  Mother and doctor excommunicated
The row was triggered by the termination on Wednesday of twin foetuses carried by a nine-year-old allegedly raped by her stepfather in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco.

The regional archbishop, Jose Cardoso Sobrinho, pronounced excommunication for the mother for authorising the operation and doctors who carried it out for fear that the slim girl would not survive carrying the foetuses to term.

“God’s law is above any human law. So when a human law … is contrary to God’s law, this human law has no value,” Cardoso had said.

He also said the accused stepfather would not be expelled from the church. Although the man allegedly committed “a heinous crime … the abortion - the elimination of an innocent life - was more serious”.
I’m a lapsed Catholic and I have no hesitation in condemning the Pope and his Bishops as utterly evil.
Can’t really expect them to get to excercised about rape, after all, it’s been the favoured pastime of hundreds of priests worldwide (although they do tend to prefer young boys).
