Redo update

Mostly content to sort out now. Some sidebar stuff and feeds from Blinklist etc. There is a DNS problem at the moment which means that the subdomain www.not-a-blog.com isn’t resolving although the domain not-a-blog.com is (sort of) resolving but to mikepower.net rather than its own url. Should be sorted by tomorrow. The easiest thing for anyone bookmarking is use just http://mikepower.net (The old /mrpower2/ directory will take you to the old blog archives.

It’s all been for the best. I wouldn’t have embarked on a major redo under normal circumstances. I feel quite invigorated by it all. Nothing like moving the furniture around and slapping a fresh coat of paint on to create the illusion of progress, ha, ha!

UPDATE: All the domains and subs are resolving to this site now in some fashion so there should be no more blank pages. If you have stuck with it so far thank you and sorry for the cock-ups :)

Slowly, out of chaos and confusion comes…delay!

Ha, ha! I’m still fiddling around and chopping and changing. I hope by next week to have settled down properly into my new incarnation (but I wouldn’t put any money on it if I were you). I think I’m having a mini bout of hypomania :)

All will be sorted out soon, I’m sure, and life will return to some semblance of normality. I’m working on this new web design, which I really like the look of. I’m off to use up my 90 downloads at Emusic. I should use them to buy some peaceful, newage stuff but I fear I will end up with some pretty weird stuff that appeals to my present mood.

Still, how else would I end up with classics such as ‘Fuck You’ by schizophrenic street singer Wesley Willis

or the short, weird ‘Tap Dance’ by 50’s street musician Moondog.
