Stumbling and Mumbling: TV & happiness

According to Ofcom, the British are spending more time watching TV, in contrast to several other European nations, where TV viewing is declining.

There is an obvious reason. As bad as our TV may be it doesn't come close to being as bad as the dross that gets aired in the rest of Europe.
