Breakfast gadget that toasts bread and boils egg at same time
The device also cooks scrambled eggs (though you do have to spend valuable time stirring them of course), poached eggs or beans. Haven't these guys heard of microwave ovens? It takes two minutes to produce perfect scrambled eggs in a microwave but, it must be said, it takes the same time to cook them on the stove and even less time to heat some beans.
Here's a restaurant tip for quick poached eggs. Cook some eggs in a clingfilm 'pouch' until almost set (about 3 minutes should do it), place in the fridge until needed. In the morning pour some of the water you boiled for your tea or coffee into a small bowl and immerse the eggs until they warm through, they should be ready by the time your toast pops up.
This Egg/Muffin gizmo takes four minutes to produce toast and eggs. I can produce scrambled eggs, beans or an omelette in less than three minutes (with toast and a drink). Even a complete dope could rustle up a cooked breakfast in under ten minutes.
Just get up a bit earlier!
