I've been in all day waiting for my new Mac to arrive. I ordered it from Apple and was informed that it would be delivered 'on or before the 14th February'. I've just checked with UPS online tracking only to find this notice attached to my order:

THE ADDRESS IS IN A REMOTE AREA
AND DELIVERIES ARE NOT MADE DAILY;
DELIVERY RESCHEDULED

What the fuck? Aberdeen is Scotland's third largest city, the oil capital of Europe and the principal port in northern Scotland. It has a busy airport and trains arrive from London all day long. Remote? My Mac is in Edinburgh which is 170 miles away. I'll just have to wait for the next supply wagon to roll in. Jeez!
