They just don't get it do they?

imageeventThe prime minister told BBC Breakfast: "I am really sorry about it, it shouldn't have happened." Labour says Mr Wolfgang can return for the conference's final day... provided he does not cause further disturbances.

Mr Blair said: "It is difficult for them (stewards) when someone is interrupting someone's speech, but it should be handled sensitively, particularly with an older person."

What exactly was difficult about it? Walter Wolfgang has probably endured more difficulties in his long life than all those bloody stewards put together. He dared to express dissent during a speech at a political conference! What a dangerous man. Still, we should be thankful he wasn't wearing 'inappropriate clothing' his neighbour would have got more than an eviction, he might have got Walters's brains all over his shirt.

What Mr Wolfgang has managed is a public relations coup that would give a Labour spinmeister a hard-on. What a triumph. An octogenarian utters one word and WHAM! Defeat of pompous twats, to cheers all round. I love it!

But let's not underestimate the utter gormlessness of these people. Instead of keeping his stupid gob shut tight Labour's chairman wouldn't let it lie:

Labour Party Chairman Ian McCartney apologised, but also said Mr Wolfgang had nevertheless misbehaved. "He was asked to calm down and be quiet, he could have taken that opportunity and watched and listened to the debate but he chose to continually disturb the event and so we removed him."

He was asked to calm down?
He's eighty-fucking-two, you arsehole!

For me, this episode sums up New Labour , Blair, Mandelson, Alastair Campbell and the rest of them :
