Ageing second generation Irish immigrant
south-Londoner now living in north-east Scotland.

Amongst other things:
 Ex master-baker, chef, stand-up comic, club compère, salesman, guest-house keeper, businessman and one or two other things best not mentioned here. Now living in peaceful (or boring, depending on your point of view) semi-retirement in the centre of Aberdeen with my long suffering wife and my teenage son.

This site is basically an old-fashioned link and pullquote blog although I’m so sick of self appointed blogwardens prattling on about what is and isn’t a blog that I’ve decided not to call this a blog anymore, so they can all just fuck off.

I post things that interest me.
If anyone else finds them interesting, whoopee! I’m not a frustrated writer, politician or journalist. In the big scheme of things this site (just like 80 million others) doesn’t add up to a hill of beans. But then what does?
